Breast cancer is the second most common cancer among women in the United States and results in nearly 40,000 deaths each year. Although the number of breast cancer cases has risen over the last decade, the death rate is declining. If your breast cancer screening or mammogram shows signs of cancer, Mercy Health offers comprehensive treatment for women of all ages, with all types of breast cancer, and at all stages of the disease. Treating breast cancer involves using multiple therapies. It can include surgery, radiation, chemotherapy and hormonal therapy. Our exceptional team of cancer caregivers, including imaging specialists, nurses, physicians, as well as nutrition, rehabilitation and exercise experts, will be at your side, helping you every step of the way as you work toward recovery.

Breast Cancer Endowment Fund of Clark County

Serving our community since 1995

Our volunteers are comprised entirely of breast cancer survivors allowing us to provide a higher level of understanding and empathy as you travel the road to recovery. We’ve been in your shoes, we’ve fought the same fight and we’re in your corner. Our volunteers provide hospital or home visits to lend support, a listening ear and endless encouragement. The road to recovery is long and can be difficult but you don’t have to walk this path alone.

Mercy Health Mobile Mammography



Mercy Health Mobile Mammography’s mobile units offer traditional 2D imaging as well as advanced 3D imaging known as breast tomosynthesis that can help increase the chance of detecting breast cancer early. Mercy Health’s mobile mammography program was the first in region to offer this technology, adding to the strength of the popular mobile mammography program that extends Mercy Health - Springfield's network of care throughout Clark, Champaign and surrounding counties.

Our Mission

Our mission at Breast Wishes Foundation is to grant wishes that bring JOY to those with breast cancer. 

 

We believe in the power of joy to uplift and inspire those fighting this challenging battle.


Our History

Founded in 2017 by Elesha Snyder and Mandi Snyder-Moore, Breast Wishes Foundation was created in memory of their sister Kelli James. Kelli's joyful spirit continues to inspire our work and mission.


Our Impact

To date, we have granted over 400 wishes and raised $1,000,000 to support breast cancer patients. Our ongoing goal is to expand our reach and provide even more assistance to those in need.



Our Reach

We serve the greater Miami Valley region, specifically Montgomery County and the seven surrounding counties of Butler, Clark, Darke, Greene, Miami, Preble and Warren.
